The Heritage and New Variants of Man-god Love Story Paradigm in Tang Dynasty

Abstract

In ancient Chinese fiction,love between man and god is an important kind of the love story paradigm.Quite a few novels created in Tang dynasty are about man-god love.Compared to the same kind of stories written earlier,man-god love stories in Tang dynasty demonstrates both inheritance and new variants,which embodies the changes of social groups and cultural psychology background.
