The Phenomenon of The "Fu Yao":Why Was the Manner Different in A New Account of Tales of The World and Jin Shu

Being different from the negative views on the phenomenon of The Fu Yao in Jin Shu in the Wei-and-Jin time, the author of A New Account of Tales of The World expressed the positive appraisal and affirmation to the counter-Confucianism phenomenon of Fu Yao which reflected the intrinsic spiritual pursuit of the litterateurs belonging to the hereditary scholar class. And to a certain extent, this kind of affirmation and appraisal played the role of promoting the phenomenon of the Fu Yao to spread and even to the extreme in the Nan Dynasty time.
