Abstract
The 3D model of elastomer die is established by using UG 7.0 software.Based on the environment of NX Nastran, the finite element analysis of key part such as sheath is carried out via software integration technique,we obtained the distribution of stress and the displacement of sheath on normal working stage. In addition, the optimization design is made according to distribution of stress. The results of simulation show that the sheath's design meet the technique requirements, the die's design is successful. The research is valuable for component's design and optimization.
