The Spiritual Mark on the Unity of "Nature" and the "Doctrine of Name"(mingjiao)——A New Interpretation of Source Tracing in The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons

Liu Xie's Source Tracing is a major academic problem puzzling modern scholars.A reason for this is their thinking mode of Literary Essentialism which puts them in a theoretical dilemma.This paper attempts to examine Liu Xie's attitude to and treatment of dao by starting with Liu Xie's Problem Consciousness and then focusing on his specific cultural context.The theoretical category of his dao with unique attributes originated in the context of Xuanxue in the Wei and Jin Dynasties.
