Abstract
As an invisible contract,the psychological contract is deeply affected by the formal labor contract,such as longterm contracts,short-term contracts.Reviewing related research,based on employee-organization relationship,the effect of contract type(permanent versus temporary) on psychological contract and its influential mechanism are explored,as well as the related results.Yet,the mediating role of contract preference or volition is discussed especially.On this basis,some management implications and future research directions is put forward:relating the study to organizational variables,investigating the dynamic development process of psychological contract in connection with contract type,considering situational factors,and so on.
