New development of Chongqing rural tourism and positioning of the “five functional areas”

As the new strategic regional development plan,the division of the five major functional areasof Chongqing city brings the opportunity and challenge to the development of Chongqing city. According to the analysis,we believe that the metropolitan area( including the urban functional core area,urban functional expanding areas,urban development new area),ecological conservation development area of northeast Chongqing,ecological protection development area of Southeast Chongqing will respectively constitute the main battlefield,the new hot spot and breakthrough points of Chongqing rural tourism development. And on the product positioning they should be highlighted leisure,original ecological and high-level features respectively.
