Multiple Screens Solution Based on Android Platform

Abstract

In recent years, the function of smart phones is more and more powerful. A lot of excellent applications display in people’s phones, mobile Internet is changing people’s lives. Android is launched by open mobile phone alliance as an open-source mobile phone operating system. Because Android is open source, and did not establish hardware parameter standards similar as the Windows Phone7‘s.Now hardware configurations based on Android platform is a mess, one of the most obvious is the screen resolution problem, on the market,there are more than ten kinds of screen.This paper will discuss how to develop one application which can adapt multiple resolutions faultfully. First this article will introduce the Android system structure, then list some related terms used in Android platform. Next it will discuss the theory of resources loaded method,and the detailed development process steps. Finally the paper gives the test method to verify whether UI can display precisely on different screens.
