Abstract
More and more attention has been paid to MBR for its advantages of good effluent quality,and less space demand,etc.comparing to the conventional active sludge(CAS),while the membrane fouling has become one of the critical problems that limiting the development of MBR.The mechanism of membrane fouling was introduced and some research progress in the membrane fouling control were reviewed,which provided references for resolving MBR membrane fouling problems effectively.
