Abstract
Useing solid super strong acid as catalyst made by the authors, terpinyl acetate is synthesized from terpineol and acetic anhydride. The dosage of catalyst is 3%, reaction time is 3 hour and reaction temperature is 40℃ The conversion rate of terpineol is 99%, the selection rate of terpinyl acetate is 97%. The obtained product has a purity of 95% after distillation. This production technology is in the pilot stage.
