Abstract

The academic community holds a negative attitude toward the party chief dictatorship promoted by Sun Yat-sen during the Chinese Revolutionary Party period.Based on analysis of the concurrent situations of the Kuomintang and the domestic politics, this paper provides historical affirmation for Sun Yat-sen's such political choice. The paper acknowledges it as Sun Yat-sun's political trial and expedience in an extreme difficult time for the course of democratic revolution. The measures fit the special party situations of the Kuomintang and the specific domestic situations in concurrent China.Any interpretation,of this political trial, disregarding the complicated and harsh political situations around the Second Revolution and purely from the operational model of modern party politics is not sufficiently pertinent.
