Abstract

On the basis of the data on actually measured 10 minutes average wind speed at 10 m height,the distribution characteristics of raw wind speed are analyzed.The parameters of Weibull distribution,average wind speed and distribution variance are calculated with the least error approach method.According to the analysis of local Weibull distribution,the average wind power density,effective average wind power density and possible utilization hours of wind farm at each height are obtained.The results are available for the wind energy development in local region.
