Abstract

The relationship among firms had greatly changed with the maturing of market-oriented economy.Based on the existing strong/weak tie theories,this thesis proposes the concept of business strong/weak tie network and explores the transformation process from the strong tie network to the weak one.The strong/weak tie network evolution models based on complex network method are built and the analytical simulations are done.The experimental results indicate that the business strong tie network has small average path length which is one character of small world network and approximately power-law degree distribution,which agrees with the empirical investigation data.On the other hand,on the basis of the weighted network evolution model,the business weak tie network combined with exit mechanism,yields small clustering coefficient and an obvious scale-free behavior for the degree distribution.The node degrees are positively correlated to its strength,reflecting the network character of weak tie network.
