The thoughts of Lao Zi and Zhuang Zi are both idealists whose philosophy is based on the theory Tao.Both of them claim governing by non-interference,but there are differences in the basis and angle on their political outlooks on society.Lao Zi puts forward a sublimate possibility for the harmony relationship between monarch and people from the macroscopically standpoint of the governors,on the contrary,Zhuang Zi proposes a direction to live in the reality for common people from the microcosmic standpoint of single person.
