Chen Du-xiu and the inaugurating of Chinese Marxist sociology

Chen Du-xiu was the Marxist in the Chinese earlier period, outlined Marxist sociology systematically in the process of publicizing the Marxism, which built up foundation of Chinese Marxist sociology.He provided academic foundation for the creation of the Chinese Marxist sociology,by his researching and analyzing on the research method of the sociology,the relations between personal and society,social circulate regulation,social suicide problem, Malthus population theory etc.Chen Du-xiu’s sociology thought took Chinese society as the point,paid attention to social organization,social rank structure,social stratum etc.in China, this established frame system for the Chinese Marxist sociology in the initial period. Chen Du-xiu was the pioneer of the Chinese Marxist sociology, occupied an important position in the history of Marxist academic in China.
