Abstract

In order to ensure the rotor of high-speed complex motor working within the safe speed range, it is significant that analysis should be done on vibration and critical speeds. There are two usual methods used on the complex rotor's vibration analysis at present, one is transfer matrix method, and the other is finite element method. In this paper, the vibration of large induction motor's rotor will be illustrated. The modal analysis is used to analyze vibration and calculate critical speed. Firstly, to make use of solidworks to set a model and estimate the mass. Secondly, to analyze the simplified model which set up by ANSYS. Thirdly, to gain the corresponding data results and calculate critical speeds and natural frequency. At last, to compare with DyRoBes' simulation results to verify the precision of this method.
