Abstract

This paper investigates and analyzes the current situation of extracurricular sports activities with the methods of questionnaire investigation,experts' interview and plentiful bibliography in colleges and universities.The research shows that the extracurricular sports activities have been confronted with the very difficult situation in colleges and universities.The reasons is that the lack of the recognition of the educating value in the extracurricular sports activities and the imperfection of the organizing and supervising systems.
