Abstract
Objective To observe the prevalence of hypertension and associated risk factors in the Fishing populations of Tieshangang of Baihei City. Methods Residents over 20 years of age were surveyed by a stratified randomized cluster sampling.Investigation of the prevalence of hypertension and risk factors were performed. Results The prevalence of hypertension in the fishing populations was 14.3%. The rate of men and women were 16.0% and 12.4%(P0.01). The single factor analysis showed that age, sex, marriage, cultural degree, household history, overweight, and so on were related with the prevalence of hypertension (P0.05). The logistic regression analysis showed that age, smoking, family history of hypertension, physical activity, culture degree was significantly related with the fishing population prevalence of hypertension. In which age, smoking, family history of hypertension, lower physical activity were risk factors. And high cultural degree, low probability of suffering from hypertension had protective effect. Conclusion Tieshangang district prevalence rate of hypertension was belong to the lower level, It is necessary to improve the hypertension knowledge publicity in the coastal areas, and prevent hypertension from the diet and lifestyle and so on.
