SPINAL ANESTHESIA FOR LABOR ANALGESIA

[Objective]To investigate the intraspinal anesthesia used in labor analgesia.[Methods]From 2009 June-2010 June in our hospital,120 cases of maternal were randomly divided into observation group and control group,and each group had 60 cases.The observation group was treated with patient-controlled epidural analgesia(PCEA)for labor analgesia,the control group did not use any analgesic measures.We compared the two groups of maternal analgesia effect,apgar score of newborn and delivery.[Results]The observation group in the first stage and second stage of the VAS score was significantly lower than in control group(P﹤0.05);The natural childbirth of the observation group was significantly more than the control group(P﹤0.01),and cesarean section was less than those of control group(P﹤0.01);The postpartum blood loss and total labor pf observation group were significantly than those of the control group(P﹤0.01);The neonatal Apgar scores 8 points of the observation group were more than the control group(P﹤0.01).[Conclusion]The intraspinal anesthesia for labor analgesia effect,can effectively reduce the cesarean delivery,postpartum hemorrhage and neonatal asphyxia,shortening the birth process,and it is worthy of clinical application.
