Abstract
General acid process of heap leaching of alkaline uranium ore is not conducive to industrial production due to the high acid consumption, long period and ore harden. Therefore, bioleaching in the laboratory is selected to do some researches on alkaline uranium ore.In this paper, aprimary study is conducted on the adaptability of bacteria in columns, the liquid leaching rate, acid consumption and the effect of column turning. Results of the experiment demonstrate that bacteria are well adapted in the column, the liquid leaching rate reaches 76.75%and the acid consumption achieves to 9.14% within 170 days.Bioleaching and turning column(decreasing ore harden)could enhance the leaching rate to a certain extent. The purpose of the test is to receive corresponding parameters and provide the basis for the large-scale production of alkaline uranium deposits.
