A Discussion on Chapter on Shaoyin Diseases in Treatise on Febrile Diseases (2)

This paper presents a discussion on some of the problems in the Chapter on Shaoyin Diseases in Treatise on Febrile Diseases. The author believes that “thready and feeble pulse with drowsiness is the main symptom of Shaoyin cold transformation syndrome, and Sini Decoction is the main prescription for Shaoyin syndrome of yang deficiency and yin hyperactivity. The author also points out that “still have chills recorded in item 82 in Zhenwu Decoction syndrome indicates failure to relieve exterior syndromes. Two other items in Zhenwu Decoction syndrome shows that one prescription can be used for multiple syndromes.
