Abstract

The streaming media service is the most profitable service over broadband network. The traditional HTML browser is not applicable to browse the streaming media information. This article proposed an XML based approach to describe and organize streaming media information. The client browser, which is based on that approach, can process varied streaming or non - streaming media information. So the user can enjoy interactive streaming media services conveniently.
