Abstract
he light greenish blue glaze, plum green glaze and bean green glaze recipes with excellent surface results were developed on the basis of the test results of representative ancient celadon glaze samples. The influencing factors including Si/Al ratio, Fe2O3 content, CaO introduction way, glaze thickness and glaze fineness were researched. The results show that the appropriate Si/Al ratio is a key factor in getting a good glaze surface; the Fe2O3 content determines the glaze colors; the CaO introduction way will produce a great influence on the quality of celadon glaze, and wollastonite is the most stable mineral for its introduction; glaze thickness and glaze fineness have great impact on glaze firing results.
