Discussion on Application of Railway Safety Evaluation Method

Safety risk management is aiming at the safety problem in people's production and life, it used to reduce and control dangerous and harmful factors in process of production, as well as each production accident. Based on expounding the concept and role of safety evaluation, this paper analyzes safety evaluation methods in each stage of railway construction and operation, such as safety pre-evaluation, safety acceptance evaluation and safety status evaluation, discusses the application of safety evaluation on railway safety risk management and puts forward the application scope of the evaluation, all of these provide management approaches and technical support for railways implementing risk management.
