The methods and effect of communication skills training for nursing staff

Abstract

Objective To improve nurses’ communication skills and improve the quality of nursing.Methods The training of communication skills were provided for the nursing staff through the means of theory study and role-playing.Then,department of nursing tested the nurses’ communication skills.Results This practice significantly improved nurses’ communication skills (P0.05).Conclusion The communication skills training can enhance nurses’ communication skills,improve the quality of nursing and facilitate nurse-patient relationship.
