On the Problem of Unfair Distribution of Income in China

At present,the problem of unfair distribution of income has seriously hampered China’s social development.This paper analyzes the current situation and the root causes of the unfair distribution of income in China.Such factors as China’s personal income tax policy is now lagging behind and there are poor tax collection and management problems,China’s monopoly industries are extracting monopoly profits through administrative monopoly,etc.have all contributed to the problem of unfair income distribution in China.This paper concludes that properly handling the relationship between efficiency and equity,ensuring the education and health care expenditures of the vulnerable groups,improving the employability of the vulnerable groups,perfecting government functions and regulating industry monopolization are the countermeasures of solving the problem of unfair income distribution in China.
