RESEARCH ON SEPARATION TECHNOLOGY OF MONAZITE AND ZIRCON FROM ILMENITE IN THE BEACH PLACER ILMENITE

Abstract

A new technology with the effective separation method is introduced in this paper for the comprehensive recovery of monazite,zireon and ilmenite from ilmenite tai-lings.Analysis has been done on the behavior and action mechanism of ilmenite,zircon and monazite in the flotation.In addition,results of the industrial test are given. This new technology opens a new route to the comprehensive and effective recovery of valuable minerals from beach placer.
