Abstract
Based on the data analysis of rock stratum movement in Lin-sheng Coal Mine and Hong-ling Coal Mine, this paper puts forward new parameters of coal pillar for building protection and new parameters of rock stratum movement. Using these new parameters, the permanent coal pillars for building protection can be reduced and good economic benefit also can be abtained.
