Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of expression of CCL7,IL-6,TGF-β on progress of liver inflammation/fibrosis and their correlation in patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB).Methods Forty eight patients with CHB were enrolled as CHB group, including 18 cases of mild degree,24 cases of moderate degree and 6 cases of severe degree.Forty healthy subjects were enrolled as control group. The serum levels of CCL7,IL-6,TGF-β1 were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results The serum levels of CCL7 in investigation group were positively correlated to those of IL-6 and TGF-β1(r=0.335,0.322,0.288,respectively,P0.05).There were no significant differences in serum levels of IL-6,TGF-β1,CCL7 between mild CHB group and control group(P0.05),however,there were significant differences in serum levels of IL-6,TGF-β1,CCL7 between moderate CHB group, severe CHB group and control group(P0.05),so were between severe CHB group and moderate CHB group(P0.01).Conclusion The serum levels of CCL7 are progressively increased with the occurrence and development of liver inflammation and fibrosis, which can be regarded as one of important indexes for evaluating the severity of liver inflammation and fibrosis.
