Both the integrated regulation of river basin water resources and the inter-basin water transfer are two important measures to realize reasonable allocation of water resources and support sustainable development of river basin.The advances of the research on the water resources regulation model on river basin level are introduced herein based on the actual background of the integrated regulation of river basin water resources and the inter-basin water transfer,and then a preliminary prospect on the future development tendency of the research is made in accordance with the practical demand on the river basin level water resources regulation.
