Standardized Nursing of Tumor Patients Implanted with PICC Catheter for Chemotherapy

Abstract

Objective:To explore the standardized nursing of PICC catheter implanted in tumor patients.Method:The nursing histories of 76 tumor patients with PICC catheter implantation were retrospectively analyzed.Result:Through instruction for daily life and standardized nursing of the puncture point and PICC catheter,93.4% of the patients had no complications.All the patients finished chemotherapy with PICC catheter,expect one patient with venous thrombosis and underwent the second PICC catheter implantation.Conclusion:Enhancing the standardized nursing of PICC catheter for tumor patients could decrease the incidence of complications,ensuring chemotherapy for patients.
