Abstract
In this paper an optimized implementation of real-time MPEG4 encoder based on TMS320DM642 DSP of Texas Instruments, Inc. is presented. The optimization techniques include algorithm optimization and data memory access efficiency in order to reduce the complexity and improve the software parallelism. Currently, the encoder can deal with the CIF video sequence at about 25 f/s.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
