The Analysis on the Style of "Wenxin Diaolong"

Liu Xie's Wenxin occupies an important position in the history of Chinese literary criticism,and makes distinctive contributions to the theoretic development of literacy criticism.Its rich stylistic ideology is still of great theoretic and realistic importance nowadays when the western stylistics is developing vigorously.This paper gives the analysis from 3 aspects: firstly,the stylistics of Wenxin Diaolong is embodied in the special value and principles studied and summarized by Liu Xie,and Wenxin Diaolong is an important mark of self-knowledge in Chinese stylistics;secondly,the stylistics of Wenxin Diaolong is also embodied by the recognition of language style and language representation,therefore Wenxin Diaolong is also an important mark of self-knowledge in Chinese literacy language;thirdly,this paper points out the theoretic value of the stylistics of Wenxin Diaolong from the perspective of western modern stylistics.
