A Discussion on the Operational Mechanism of Developing All-Around Old Towns Instanced by the Development and Construction of All-around Old Towns of Hanjiang, Wuhan City

With the rebuilding and alteration to old town in China, questions such as empty city function, excessive commercialize and extreme resident relocation arise during the development process. This thesis emphasizes the operational mechanism of all-around development for old towns. It aims to clarify that applying market operation under government control to collect social fund and strength can help form a healthy, orderly and sustainable development pattern of old towns.
