Abstract

The recent happened event of maltreating prisoners in America has aroused our consideration of some problems related to the treatment rules for prisoners of war. The article reviews the three developing phases of treatment rules for prisoners of war in history, sums up the rights that prisoners of war should receive and analyzes the illegality of the event in America.
