Discussion on determining the normal reference values of the coagulation indicator

Abstract

Objective: To investigate the difference in the reference values coming from our lab,the reference book and manufacturers.Methods: The PT,APTT and TT were measured in 400 healthy checkup's plasmas by SysmexCA7000 full-auto blood coagulation analyzer.Results: The normal reference values of PT,APTT,TT were(9.8~12.5 s),(22.1~37.3 s)and(14.5~22.3 s) by statistic method respectively.There was no statistical significance in the difference between male-female groups and among age groups by the test.Conclusion: There are great differences in the reference values among our lab,the reference book and manufacturers,so it is very essential and scientific to establish the normal reference values of ourselves in connection with our lab's condition and group.The normal reference value has no relation to gender and age.
