On the differences and causes of Chinese and Western food culture from the perspective of cross-cultural communication

Cross-cultural communications among countries become frequent as a result of the development of economy. The huge differences between Chinese and Western food culture are one of the obstacles to cross-cultural communication. This paper endeavors to analyze the differences in idea,contents,methods and table manners between Chinese and Western food culture,reveals the causes of these differences,clarifies continuous communication and integration of Chinese and Western food culture and helps to increase the knowledge,and to avoid the obstacles in cross-cultural communication.
