Purifying effect of constructed wetland in integrated fishpond-wetland system

Abstract

A fishpond-wetland water recycling system,which was made of compound constructed wetland(combine substrate flow wetland and flow surface wetland) and fishpond,was used to breed Grass carp fingering.The improvement of ecological recycling aquaculture system for aquaculture wastewater quality was studied.The results showed that under 760 mm/d hydraulic loading rate,the average removal rate of constructed wetland system for NH4+-N,NO2——N,NO3——N,TN,TP,COD and TSS were(33.56±3.71)%,(50.73±3.95)%,(46.33±4.95)%,(27.99±2.78)%,(58.15±3.38)%,(29.60±2.24)% and(84.49±1.77)%,respectively.The effluent of wetland system was up to national water quality standard for fisheries.So the fishpond-wetland water recycling system had good purification efficiency for aquaculture wastewater.
