Abstract
Objective:To eualuate the effect and safety of LASIK retreatment for correcting residual myopia. Methods:The thirty-six eyes(from 30 pationts)underwent secondary LASIK at 3-36 months after primary LASIK procedure.Following-up were 6 and 12 months after LASIK retreatment respectively. Results:After reoperation, mean uncorrected visual acuity improved significantly(P0.05),whereas best-correted visual acuity had no significant difference;myopie refraction of all patients was within±0.50D.After the reoperation.the forward shift of posterior corneal surface has no significant change. Conclusions:Secondary LASIK was an effective and safe method to treat regression after primary LASIK for high myopia.
