Foundation and Ways of Cultural City Construction in Anhui Province

Culture plays a leading and catalyzing role in the process of a city's development.A cultural city is a new city which can improve the quality of the citizens,lift the city's cultural quality,promote the development of science and technology, education,culture,stimulate rapid economic growth and all-round social progress with advanced culture,which will make the city a new one with unique cultural identity and artistic charm,as well as intrinsic power and vitality of unceasing development.Anhui Province has a long history and is rich in resources,with colorful regional cultural types and profound cultural deposits.The culture of Anhui can be divided into Huizhou Culture,Yangjiang Culture,Jianghuai Culture,and Yanhuai Culture,according to its regional differences.This paper discusses the cultural basis and construction ways of cultural cities in Anhui Province based on the analysis of the function,size,economic environment and special culture of seventeen municipalities,in connection with the representation and cultural connotation of regional cultures in Anhui,in order to promote the construction of cultural cities and improve their cultural quality.
