Abstract
Based on analyzing the characteristics of commonly used bridge deck systems for half-through concrete filled steel tube (CFST) arch bridges,the supported-continuous combinatorial bridge deck system,a kind of new type,was brought forward for the first time and calculated with MSC.Nastran software to study the influence of different types of bridge deck systems on the static and the dynamic characteristics.The results show that it makes no marked differences that the influence of different types of bridge deck systems on the inner force of CFST arch ribs,as well as the stability and dynamic performance of bridge structure.The other important conclusion is that the supported-continuous combinatorial bridge deck system inherits so much advantage from simply supported and continuous bridge deck systems that it is regarded as the best bridge deck system of half-through CFST arch bridge.
