Abstract

The cluster analysis was conducted to study cold tolerance of 10 grasses by tested their lethal temperature 50(LT50) and winter survival rates.Results showed that there were three types of grasses: high cold tolerance grasses including Bromus riparius,Bromus inermis,Festuca arundinacea;Agropyron desertorum,Elytrigia elongate and Phleum pretense,medium cold tolerance grasses including Festuca rubra,Agropyron smithii,Dactylis glomerata;low cold tolerance including Phalaris arundinacea.
