Abstract
Cao Ye,a poet of later Tang dynasty,imitated poems of Tao Yuan-ming in literature style choice、expression appeal、poetry image and so on.His poems had formed the style of noble、ancient、profound and elegant.It was quite noticeable in all poems which had been effected by Tao Yuan-ming.Analyzed its reason,First,he selected of his own initiative;Next,he had the same life experience and the social background as Tao Yuan-ming;Third,he also mixed the Confucianism and Taoism,and therefore could have the sympathetic chord with Tao Yuan-ming.
