Artistic Interpretation of Symbolism in Worth Costume Design

Abstract
Worth,as the first person pioneering French fashion industry in 18-19 centuries,shows the curve beauty of women with decorative clothing through artistic characteristics of symbolism. Worth is not only skillful at body shaping with excessive ornamentation and exaggeration but also good at complex fabric processing and creation. His design is full of aristocratic elegance and romance,establishing the clothing pattern for the high-quality costume in the 19-20 th centuries. Worth's artistic concepts of symbolism display in his design skills and his creative thinking more,allowing the wearer to feel the designed connotation the clothing expresses.
