Abstract
After the analysis of the copper-bearing porphyry characteristics, rock earth chemical characteristics and the diagenesis and mineralization environment in Harizha of Qinghai,it is found that Harizha copper-bearing porphyry is composed of the altered granodiorite porphyry and belogs to the K calc-alkaline rock type with the crust molten mineralization characteristics under the mantle-derived magmas. The copper-bearing porphyry is with an intense quartzsericitization, kaolinitization and mineralization. The preserved position of ore bodies is equivalent to the joints of kaolinized zone and quartz-sericite zone and its characteristics in typical alteration and location are similar with the porphyry copper deposit in Dexing and Yulong with a very good diagenesis and mineralization environment and prospecting potential.
