Abstract

Dunhuang MS: S 6551 is a piece of Jiangjing wen(a narrative text of Buddhist Scripture for lecturer to the public folks ) written in 795 A D or a little bit later round that year of Tang Dynasty The fact mentioned about in the text shows us that the one so called ShengTian Khan(The Sacred Heavenly King) was referred to Huaixin Khan(怀信可汗), he was the first Uighur khan who was converted to Buddhist too The related historic facts reflected by the text that Xi Zhou were under controlled by the Uighurs shortly after the area were conquered by Tibetan during the period of 792 821A D
