Study on Blinking Jamming Technique for Monopulse Radar

Abstract

Monopulse radar has a good ant-jamming ability.Based on analysis of the principle of angle tracking system of monopulse radar,the mechanism and categories of blinking jamming are introduced.The conditions for valid blinking jamming are given.The research indicates that blinking jamming can make the radar antenna swing between the two jamming sources,and destroy the normal operation of angle tracking system of monopulse radar,the energy ratio strongly affects performance of blinking jamming.
