Abstract
The objective of this paper is to distinguish segregation of HMA(hot mix asphalt) on the basis of analysis of gradation and volumetric parameters of the test samples, and try to bring up a standard method of determining the segregation level. The results of tests and analysis show that the segregation level of HMA can be recognized and evaluated by grade-deviation,change of oil-content,voids in total mix and differences of theoretical maximum density.
