On the role of commercial banks in the corporate governance structure

Abstract

Corporate governance is an important aspect in the modern enterprise system,good corporate governance structure is also the necessary conditions to enhance competitiveness and improve the operating performance. As a result of China's corporate governance is in a transitional period,analysis of all aspects in order to perfect the corporate governance structure in China has great significance. Currently,Chiness companies have much more diversified forms of ownership,corporate governance is supposed to be all the main stakeholders. As the largest provider of capital for commercial banks,the role of corporate governance is not enough as a whole,the bank has a weak impact on company owners. This paper starts from the claims bound theory,provides feasible suggestions for commercial banks to fully play their role in the management of corporate governance,which is combined with the current situation of corporate governance participated by commercial banks.
