Abstract
It is very important to confirm and eliminate a criminal suspect according to retained footmark and shoes in the scene of a crime. Morphology comparison of barefoot trace is quite useful in investigation. This research demonstrates that to collect the barefoot trace and measure lines of outline from lots of suspects, it shows a large difference; to collect many barefoot traces from a suspect, it shows a large i-dentity. The selected series of standard of the footmark measurement has already been proved. As a statistical law of feature distinguishing, the measured accuracy is raising.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
