Abstract
To train applied talents,combined with the features of mechanical basic course of chemical equipment and need of social development,based on the practice of Huaibei Normal University,several aspects of theory and practice teaching reform in mechanical basic course of chemical equipment such as optimizing the teaching content,improving the overall course structure,and strengthening curriculum design training were explord.In special,through enriching content of curriculum design and method of teaching evaluation,practice indicated that reform measures improved the quality of teaching greatly and enhanced engineering consciousness and engineering design ability of students.So the task of design can drive the interests of studying and teaching.
